The ULM Office of Veterans Affairs has physical copies of various materials covering a wide array of needs for veterans and their families in Sandel Hall 308. Additional ULM benefits and digital sources are listed below:
Early Registration
ULM students who are veterans or on active duty are eligible for early course registration each semester.Ìý Any student who is a veteran or actively serving should contact the SCO to ensure they are on the list for early registration.
Deployment and Readmission for Military & Veteran Affiliated Students
The university will promptly readmit any student whose enrollment was disrupted by deployment/activation into service. The university requires the student to notify the dean of their college as soon as they are notified of the call-up.
Undergraduate students should contact the Admissions Office at 318-342-5430 for information about the readmission process. Graduate students should contact the Graduate School at 318-342-1036.
Mobilization of Military Affiliated Students
The university adheres to the Louisiana Board of Regent's Policy.
Tutoring
Free tutoring is available to any ULM student through the Student Success Center. Information regarding tutoring is found at the following link: /studentsuccess/tutoring.html .
TRIO Programs: Ìý³ó³Ù³Ù±è²õ://³Ü±ô³¾.±ð»å³Ü/°ù±ð²õ±ð²¹°ù³¦³ó/³Ù°ù¾±´Ç/
Veterans Upward Bound: This is a tutoring service exclusively for veterans and administered by our TRIO program. TRIO also offers services exclusively for first-generation college students with veterans receiving priority in some cases.

ULM's Counseling Center has counselors specifically trained in PTSD, substance abuse, and emotional distress. They also offer programs, workshops, and a decompression room.

The Career Development Office offers specialized career exploration, resume reviews, and interview training for military & veteran affiliated students.
Student Lounge:
The ULM Office of Veterans Affairs Office is working to renovate its current lounge space in Sandel Hall 241 into a premier relaxation and study space exclusively for military & veteran affiliated students.
