ROTC Information
ULM offers both Army and Air Force ROTC programs through cross-town agreements with Grambling State University and Louisiana Tech University, respectfully. Each program offers an opportunity to pursue a college degree and future military service concurrently. Both programs offer unique training experiences, college credit, and financial benefits through scholarships and stipends.

Army ROTC is a college elective curriculum you take along with your required college classes. It prepares you with the tools, training, and experiences that will help you succeed in any competitive environment. You will have a normal college student experience like everyone else on campus, but when you graduate, you will be an .
ULM is a detachment Army ROTC program which includes LA Tech and the host school, Grambling State University. All classes will be held at ULM; however, Junior and Senior level classes will be held on Grambling’s campus for ULM students. The Army ROTC courses are college electives focusing on leadership and management skills.

Air Force ROTC at the University of Louisiana Monroeis conducted through a crosstown agreement with Louisiana Tech University. All classes are held at LA Tech. Program details can be found at the following link:
Air Force ROTC – Detachment 305 is located at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana. We are the host Air Force ROTC unit of Louisiana Tech University, University of Louisiana at Monroe, Grambling State University, Northwestern State University, and Bossier Parish Community College.
