Pottery is an ancient craft that continues to thrive as a dynamic form of artistic expression. Ceramics can range from functional vessels to sculptural works, offering endless possibilities for creative exploration.
At ULM, students build a strong technical foundation through hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques, along with a variety of decorating and firing methods. As they develop their skills, students move beyond functional pottery to explore innovative forms, personal expression, and the aesthetic impact of their work.
Through hands-on studio practice, students develop the technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving skills needed to create distinctive ceramic artwork.
