ULM set to welcome incoming students to PREP beginning June 10

MONROE, La. —˶ is gearing up to welcome incomingfreshmenfor its annual Preview, Registration, and Enrollment Program, better known as PREP, with the first session kicking off on June 10, 2026.PREP is a two-day orientation program designed to help incomingfreshmenmake a smooth transition to college life at ULM.
At PREP, future Warhawks will register for their first college courses, meet theirfirst college friends, andlearnthe Warhawk Way.
“There’s nothing like the excitement and energy of our incoming freshmen at PREP,” said ULM President Dr. Carrie L. Castille. “This is an amazing opportunityfor our next generation of students to fall in love with the campus wherethey’llspend the next four years. Our PREP staff does an outstanding jobof making these students feel welcome and gettingthem prepared for their first semester.I’mlooking forward to seeing all thenew facesat each of the sessions this summer.”
PREP sessions are led by PREPstaff,a group of students who are trained throughout the year to prepare incomingfreshmenfor their ULM experience andensurethey have what they need to succeed.

Sessions are limited in size and are first-come, first-served.To attend a PREP session, participants must complete the online registration at.Students with questions can call the PREP hotline at 1-800-372-5127 or emailprep@ulm.edu.
The Parent Orientation Program, or POP, will run concurrently with each PREP session. POP is designed toassistparents with pivotal information and resources, which prepare both parents and students for college.
