Education is the key to dispelling myths and removing negative stereotypes about aging.
ÌýAging is a natural, normal and anticipated process that, unfortunately, carries the
stigma of reduced abilities. Everyone wants to live a long life but no one wants to
get old. Thanks to research and modern technology, people are living longer and healthier
lives. Early interventions, lifestyle changes, positive attitudes, and an age-friendly
environment may be able to reduce the negative stereotypes of old age.ÌýÌý
