Job Location & Development Program

The Job Location and Development (JLD) program is a federally funded initiative that locates and develops off-campus job opportunities for students currently enrolled in eligible institutions of higher education who want jobs, regardless of financial need.Ìý

The JLD program is a resource for both students and employers. To utilize the JLD program, jobs must be posted on and students hired through the Handshake platform.Ìý

For Students

The JLD program provides access to off-campus part-time and seasonal job opportunities that help students:

  • Gain real-world experience

  • Build professional skills

  • Expand Networking Connection

  • Earn Income while enrolled
